marker text that says "great expectations"

MY APPROACH TO DESIGN CAN BE DISTILLED INTO THREE HAPPY TRUTHS:

My design anticipates how you’ll need to adapt in the future when the growth arrives, instead of functioning as a reactive afterthought. I want you to walk away confident in your ability to adjust as needed, allowing your brand to rise in tandem.

I don't chase after trends, or design for the warped reality of social media aesthetics. My work’s purpose is to set you up for success in the long run, provide a framework that you can grow with, and create something that won’t go out of style in two years.

I think of it as a balance between classic things that have worked for decades and bold, new ideas.

Proactive design stays on center.

The best collaborations always start with a relationship based on shared interests. I never want my clients to feel talked down to, or talked over, or not talked to at all.

The cycle of searching, spending, sitting and waiting (and waiting), only to accept that your project was late — or thrown together in a hurry! — is such a freakin’ buzzkill. It ruins the mood of what should be a happy dance as your design crosses the finish line. I’m not about all that.

At Studio Franko, expect clear, open, communication about timelines, set and met expectations, and approachable, inclusive creativity.

The feeling must be mutual.

Lagom is a Swedish word that I stumbled upon in grad school, probably between the pages of a magazine about design. It’s stuck with me ever since.

Lagom translates to the feeling of ‘not too much, and not too little.’ It’s the exact right amount for peak beauty, joy, design, or whatever you’re wishing to it to.

My intention for every project I get to design for? Lagom, baby!

Above all: Lagom
